Skin anatomy and physiology; barrier function; cell turnover; ageing; collagen and elastin; Fitzpatrick classification; professional assessment; homecare planning; consultation, contraindications, infection prevention, consent, aftercare and complication recognition.

Practical learning and assessment

Theory and practical training in dermaplaning and hyaluronic acid skin boosters. Required theory and practical assessments must be completed successfully for certification in the treatments taught and assessed.
